Carnival Physician Jobs

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking qualified candidates to work as
physicians aboard their ships. In this capacity, the cruise ship
physician will handle basic and emergency medical treatment of
guests. In addition to passengers, the shipboard physician is
responsible for the emergency and primary care of ship’s officers
and crew. Carnival requires valid physician’s registration/licensing
from the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland,
South Africa, or European Union member country.

Carnival requires 3 years postgraduate training in internal
medicine, family practice or emergency medicine. Carnival also
requires competency in emergency medicine and experience with
orthopedic and minor surgical procedures. Cruise ship physicians
will be required to perform (or demonstrate a willingness to learn)
basic lab procedures and radiological procedures. Physicians must
be fluent in English and be deemed fit to work at sea. The cruise
ship doctor must also demonstrate proficiency in computer skills.
